Pneumonia, Colds & Flu Protocol According to Dr Thompson, in a paper published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Vol289, No.2, Jan 8, 2003, titled: Mortality Associated with influenza and respiratory synctytial virus in the United States, there are more than 68,000 annual deaths associated with the flu and related upper respiratory infections. This figure has been increasing indicating that the flu vaccine and other interventions are not enough. More than 77% of people are over 65 years of age. In an attempt to increase these results, I recommend colloidal silver nebulizations to people that may be having upper respiratory symptoms as an alternative or complement to the flu vaccine. Colloidal silver is a liquid preparation made of only silver and water. The silver is suspended in a solution of purified water. The process involves the use of purified silver electrodes that slowly seep the silver into solution. The longer the electrodes are left on, the more the silver that gets in the solution. The amount of silver contained in different preparations can vary from 5 to 500 PPM (parts per million). Silver preparations are still used to this day in modern American hospitals. The main use is to prevent gonorrheal infections in newborns. The preparation used is silver nitrate and it has been shown to be effective in eradication bacteria in the eyes of these infants born of mothers that could be infected vaginally with the bacterium. Although silver nitrate has been shown to be effective against infections, its internal use can lead to accumulation of silver in the tissues leading to argyria, which is a metallic discoloration of the skin or nails. I have never observed this finding in any of my patients using colloidal silver. I am not aware of any other side effect related to silver accumulation in the body. Atlantis Energy Network distributes a particular colloidal silver preparation and the comments made herein apply only to this preparation researched by myself for the past 6 years. All that will be mentioned here is based on my own clinical experience. I do not make any claims that this preparation cures or treats anything. However, the clinical findings are of significance and need to be looked at closely by other physicians. I originally tried colloidal silver in the summer of 1995. I had a very severe pneumonia. I had fevers for two weeks with a cough that would wake me up at night. I also had shortness of breath and a sharp pain across my chest. I used colloidal silver in a way that I had not seen other physicians do at the time. Many were using the preparation orally with their patients. If this was a natural antibiotic, it made sense to me to nebulize it and breathe it directly into the lung where the infection was. A nebulizer is a machine that produces a steady flow of air. It is used in patients that need respiratory therapy such as asthmatics and people with chronic lung disorders and infections. It is connected with a rubber tubing to re-usable containers where liquid medicines can be placed and this is then connected to facial masks. The masks come in two sizes: for adults and for children. As the air passes through the container containing the liquid, a fine mist is created that can then be breathed easily into the lung. I would breathe 5 cc (milliliters or cubic centimeters) at a time. This would take approximately 10-15 minutes. I would do this twice a day. My symptoms cleared within 2 days and I was feeling well again. I started using this preparation in my patients in many forms: orally, cutaneously, vaginally, opthalmically, rectally and nebulized. In more than 100 patients that have used it, I have not seen one case of argyria. In some people, I have heard comments of bowel changes. Because of the potential of affecting the bacteria in the intestine, I recommend a Lactobacillus supplement to be taken up to three times a day when the silver is taken orally and once a day when it is only nebulized. Patients that are nebulizing only may not need acidophilus and I have not heard any these patients complaining about gastrointestinal symptoms. However, I recommend a Lactobacillus supplement once a day as a general preventive. Of the more than 100 patients using colloidal silver in my practice, nebulized into the lungs, all but one have had a positive result meaning a prompt eradication of their infections without the use of antibiotics. Approximately half of these patients are immunosupressed patients with advanced cancer or AIDS, senior citizens and children and infants. Their infections have ranged from bacterial, to viral pneumonias or upper respiratory tract infections. These are all patients with delicate bodies that cannot afford to have a preparation that will harm them. None of them have reported side effects. It is interesting to note that this preparation can be drank, breathed or applied to wounds, eyes or mucosal surfaces without irritation. It feels like water and has a very mild metallic taste. I felt compelled to write this section because the use of this preparation might save many lives in the future. Anthrax has become a threat to our health and there may be other threats as well. Because of the positive results I have observed in my patients, I would strongly recommend colloidal silver as a preventive for any type of infection that may be present in our environments. The advantage of using colloidal silver is that it is safe and it has been associated with a more than 95% success in my patients with upper respiratory (sinuses, colds, sore throats) or lung infections. In addition, it may be effective not just against bacterial organisms like anthrax but other fungal and viral agents that may be in our environments. In order to continue the research, I have written a letter to Congressman Dan Burton of the Government Reform Committee. I have previously had the privilege of testifying before this committee on the benefits of chelation therapy and how the medical community has been excruciatingly slow in implementing this life saving modality in their practices. I asked for the opportunity to come to DC (National Institutes of Health) or Atlanta (Centers for Disease Control) to prove the efficacy of colloidal silver against anthrax. The letter was faxed last week. I pray that you will read between the lines and decide whether this preparation can assist you in the prevention of many infections. I cannot legally say that this cures anything, however, I know it works and I rarely use antibiotics or antivirals unless infections do not clear after colloidal silver. PREVENTION Nebulize 4 cc every night. You will notice a very relaxing feeling while you are nebulizing the colloidal silver. You will also notice an improvement in your breathing in the following days. I suspect this happens from the eradication of so many microbes that are constantly being breathed into the lung. Wash the mask and container with water and allow to air dry. You may do this 3 times a week or every day. If an infection is present or starts occurring, you may do everyday or three times a day. Always consult a physician when you have any symptoms suspicious for an infection. If there is a lot of coughing upon breathing in, put a small pinch of seasalt in the 4 cc. You may take lacto-s-plus (acidophilus) one capsule a day with breakfast An eight-ounce bottle contains 240 cc and will last 60 days for one person. You may also ask your physician for a prescription for a nebulizer and you may obtain it at your pharmacy. Your insurance may cover this. Masks are sold without prescriptions at pharmacies. You may use the same nebulizer and medicine container among family members. However, I recommend each person has their own mask. Lacto-s-plus is an acidophilus (lactobacillus) preparation available at our online store. NOTE: Sedimentation and some precipitation may occur. You may still use the colloidal silver as indicated above. An amber golden color is a normal color for this preparation.
