Dr. Joffe in her psychology
practice works with adults. She offers individual, couples and group
therapy. Some of the areas she treats are anxiety, depression, eating
disorders, trauma and relationship difficulties. She uses a variety of
techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization, E.M.D.R., Neuroemotional
Techniques, N.E.T., Meta-Energetics and has a psychospiritual orientation.
Her goals with her clients are problem resolution and developing more
fulfilling ways of living.

Dr. Joffe has a Doctorate in
Counseling Psychology from the University of Miami, a Special Ed. M.A. in
Emotional Disturbance from Boston University and a Psychology Major B.A.
from Case-Western Reserve University. Dr. Joffe is licensed with the
State Department of Professional Regulation as a Marriage and Family
Therapist (Lic #0000178) and as a Psychologist (Lic #0002315).
Dr. Joffe is has been Director
of the Family Life Center of Florida since 1977, prior to which she served
as Adjunct Professor with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of
Miami Medical School, and as Assistant Professor at St. Thomas University. |
